User Management

How to manage users in the LysisAI Platform.


Prerequisites

Before you begin

  • You are logged in as Administrator
  • You have the required permissions for user management

User Overview

User management shows all users in your organization:

User List

  • Name - First and last name of the user
  • Email - Email address
  • Role - Administrator, Employee, or Client
  • Status - Active, Inactive, or Locked
  • Actions - Edit, Deactivate, Delete

Create New User

Step 1: Open User Dialog

  1. Click New User in the top right corner
  2. The create user dialog opens

Step 2: Enter User Data

Fill in the following fields:

  1. First Name - User's first name
  2. Last Name - User's last name
  3. Email - Email address (used as username)
  4. Role - Select a role:
  5. Administrator - Full system rights
  6. Employee - Access to assigned clients
  7. Client - Own documents and conversations

  8. Temporary Password - Automatically generated or manually set


Step 3: Save User

  1. Review all information
  2. Click Save
  3. The user receives a welcome email with login credentials

The new user can now sign in with the credentials sent to them.


Edit User

To change user data:

  1. Click the Edit icon (pencil) in the user row
  2. Change the desired fields
  3. Click Save

Deactivate User

To temporarily deactivate a user:

  1. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the user
  2. Select Deactivate
  3. The user can no longer sign in

Deactivation

Deactivated users can be reactivated at any time.


Delete User

Caution

Deleting a user is irreversible and removes all associated data!

To delete a user:

  1. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the user
  2. Select Delete
  3. Confirm the security prompt

Reset Password

To reset a user's password:

  1. Open the user for editing
  2. Click Reset Password
  3. A temporary password is generated and sent via email
  4. The user must change the password on next login

User Roles and Permissions

Role Permissions
Administrator Complete system administration, all permissions
Employee Access to assigned clients, document management, conversations
Client Upload/download own documents, conversations with employees

Search Users

Use the search function to quickly find users:

Filter Users

Filter options:

  1. Search field - Full-text search in names and email addresses
  2. Role - Filter by Administrator, Employee, or Client
  3. Status - Filter by Active, Inactive, or Locked
