Manage Notifications

How to stay informed about important events in the LysisAI Platform.


What are Notifications?

Notifications inform you about:

  • New messages in conversations
  • Uploaded documents from employees
  • Status changes for tasks or documents
  • System notices (maintenance, updates)

Notification Types

In-App Notifications

Notifications displayed directly in the platform:

  • Bell icon in the top navigation bar
  • Red dot indicates unread notifications
  • Number of unread messages

Email Notifications

Optionally, you can also receive emails:

  • Immediate - Email for every event
  • Summary - Daily summary of all events
  • None - In-app notifications only

View Notifications

Open Notification Center

  1. Click the bell icon in the top right corner
  2. The notification panel opens
  3. See all your notifications chronologically

Read Notification

  1. Click on a notification
  2. You will be redirected to the relevant page (e.g. conversation)
  3. The notification is marked as read

Direct Access

Notifications provide quick access to the respective event - you don't have to search manually!


Manage Notifications

Delete Single Notification

  1. Hover over a notification
  2. Click the X icon on the right
  3. The notification is removed

Mark All as Read

To read all notifications at once:

  1. Open the notification center
  2. Click Mark all as read at the top
  3. The red dot disappears

To clear the notification list:

  1. Open the notification center
  2. Click Delete all
  3. Confirm in the dialog

Irreversible

Deleted notifications cannot be recovered.


Adjust Notification Settings

Open Settings

  1. Click your profile picture in the top right
  2. Select Settings
  3. Navigate to Notifications

Configure In-App Notifications

Enable or disable notifications for:

  • New Messages - Conversations
  • Document Uploads - New documents from employees
  • Document Downloads - When someone downloads your documents
  • Status Changes - Changes to your documents
  • System Messages - Important platform updates

Configure Email Notifications

Choose for each category:

Option Description
On Immediate email for every event
Summary Daily email with all events
Off No emails

Recommendation

Use "Summary" for frequent events and "On" only for important notifications to avoid email overload.


Notification Types in Detail

New Message

What: Someone sent you a message in a conversation

Content: - Sender - Conversation subject - Message preview (first 100 characters)

Action: Click the notification to go to the conversation

Document Uploaded

What: An employee uploaded a document for you

Content: - Filename - Category - Uploaded by (employee name)

Action: Click the notification to go to the document

Document Downloaded

What: Someone downloaded one of your documents

Content: - Filename - Downloaded by (name) - Timestamp

Action: Information only - no action required

System Message

What: Important platform updates or maintenance notices

Content: - Message title - Brief description - Optional: Link to more information

Action: Read the message carefully

As Employee: Client Notifications

As an employee, you receive notifications from all your assigned clients:

Filter by Client

  1. Open the notification center
  2. Use the client filter at the top
  3. See only notifications from a specific client

Prioritization

Set priorities for clients:

  1. Go to Settings → Notifications
  2. Section Client Priority
  3. Mark important clients for preferred notifications

Prioritized Notifications

Notifications from prioritized clients appear at the top of the list.


Tips for Effective Notification Management

Tip Description
Check Regularly Review notifications 2-3x daily
React Promptly Handle important notifications timely
Clean Up Delete old notifications regularly
Adjust Settings Disable unimportant notifications
Use Quiet Mode Avoid distractions outside work hours

Common Problems

Problem Solution
No notifications received Check settings - are notifications enabled?
Too many notifications Disable unimportant categories or use "Summary"
Emails not arriving Check spam folder and add sender address to address book
Notifications delayed Refresh the page (F5) or log in again

Privacy

Notification Log

  • Notifications are not permanently stored
  • Deleted notifications are irreversibly gone
  • Email notifications contain no sensitive data (only hints)
  • Full content is only visible in the app after login
